For microfilm requests only, customers may contact the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Department directly for assistance. The telephone number is 410-887-6110.
Customers must be able to provide ILL staff with the following information:
- Name and telephone number of the library system that owns the microfilm.
- Details about any additional fees that the owning library system may charge.
- Authorization to charge any additional fees to your BCPL account.
- Date(s), birth, marriage, land record and microfilm reel number details are also needed
The standard $5.00 ILL service fee applies to all microfilm requests. Once the microfilm has been received by our Interlibrary Loan department, it will be sent to our Towson Branch for viewing. You will be notified that it is available by telephone or email.
