Q. How do I set up an online account with my library card?

If you have an active BCPL library card/account then you don’t need to set anything up. BCPL accounts come with your online access already set up for you. All you need is your library card number and your library PIN/password, which should have been given to you when you got your card.  If you registered for an online card then you have an e-card/PACREG number and a PIN.  There should have been a screen at the end of the registration process telling you to write down your PACREG number.  If you don't have the number then contact the library for help.  

To log in to your library account, go BCPL’s home page, click the My Account tab and select Login/Logout/Register. You must enter your library card number without any spaces or dashes and your PIN/password. You can change your PIN/password after you log in once. To log into Cloud Library, you use the same login credentials (card number and PIN). To log into OverDrive, you only need your library card number.

If you have an email address listed in your library account then you can always recover your PIN/password using the Forgot Your Password? link from the My Account tab > Account login page. You will be asked to enter your library card number, then your PIN will be emailed to you at whatever email address you have given the library. If you change your email you can log into your account and update it or contact the library and we will update it for you.

If you need help with recovering your PIN and the Forgot Your Password? link did not work then you will need to take your photo ID and go to any of BCPL's branches and have it reset.  BCPL staff cannot see what your PIN is but they can reset it.
