All of our branches (http://www.bcpl.info/hours-locations/#neighborhood) have public computers with access to the Internet and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
Customers using public computer stations at Baltimore County Public Library must have a Baltimore County Public Library card (http://www.bcpl.info/services-policies/card-and-catalog#library-card) or a library card from another Maryland public library that is registered with Baltimore County Public Library in his/her own name. Customers with fines greater than $25 must pay 10% of those fines in order to use a public computer.
Policies and information about using our public computer stations (http://www.bcpl.info/services-policies/public-computers-wireless-access#public ) can be found through the Public Computers and Wireless Access link found under the Services and Policies column in the Get Help area of our home page.
BCPL allows the use of USB storage devices on our public computers to save or retrieve information. Please note that the CD and floppy drives on all public computers have been disabled.
Black and white and color printers are available for customer use from the public computers as well as via our wireless network although there is a fee for printouts (http://www.bcpl.info/services-policies/library-services#fax).
