Q. How many items may I check out?

Customers may check out up to 100 items at a time with the following exceptions:

Chromebook: one per customer account

Hotspots: one per customer account

Downloadable audiobooks and eBooks (http://bcpl.info/find-materials/downloadables): limited to 10 titles from each vendor (including combination of ebooks/ audio books) checked out at any given time.

DVDs: limited to 20 DVDs of any type per customer at any given time.

Playaway Lock: one per customer account

Video games (http://www.bcpl.info/find-materials/special-collections#video-games): limited to 3 at a time.

Children's library cards  which are restricted by a parent or guardian are limited to checking out our children's materials (materials from the Adult and Young Adult collections cannot by borrowed on a restricted child's card). Parental permission with a parent or guardian's signature is required at the time of registering for a child's card in order for a child to check out DVDs and video games other than those rated for children.

Teacher Loan Library Cards: DVDs, videogames, Playaways, Playaway Locks, Playaway Views, cloudLibrary (formerly 3M Cloud Library) downloadable eBooks and audiobooks and new adult fiction cannot be borrowed on a teacher loan library card.
