2017 Summer @ Your Library Program
Help us Build a Better World!
Summer @ Your Library volunteers are students entering grades 7 to 10 in fall 2017. They help promote the program, sign-up children and give out stickers and prizes, and more. Volunteer application packets will be available for pickup at the Information Desk at the branch where the volunteer wants to work from Monday, April 10, 2017 until Sunday, April 23, 2017. Applications must be turned in by 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017. There are a limited number of volunteer positions and they fill quickly. Apply early! Find out more...
NOTE: The Randallstown Branch will not need volunteers this summer. Please consider volunteering at the Owings Mills, Pikesville, Reisterstown, or Woodlawn Branches.
More on volunteering throughout the year ...
Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at the branch where you would like to work. The branches cannot guarantee that there will be work available at all times and are under no obligation to accept volunteers.
The branch's Volunteer Coordinator can also address whether they can help you get service learning hours or fulfill court-ordered community service hours. Students should check first with their school to be certain that the library is an acceptable choice for fulfilling their required volunteer (service learning) hours.
