You must have a valid Baltimore County Public Library card to enjoy our free downloadable e-books and e-audiobooks, and to access your special account with our downloadable providers. Through this account you can checkout, place holds and download audiobooks or e-books to your computer/device or access streaming videos.

Visit our Digital Library page to access our e-books, e-audiobooks and streaming video collections. Depending on your device or computer type, you may need the appropriate app installed. Links to get the apps are on the Digital Library page, under the heading, Download the Apps.

For information on how to get a BCPL library card, see the Get a Library Card page at (https://www.bcpl.info/services/get-a-library-card.html). If you register for a card online (also called an e-card or PACREG number) you can still get access to BCPL's digital titles. If you want to check out books and other materials from the library, bring your photo ID and go into a branch to obtain a regular library card. You can also register a library card issued by a different Maryland public library with BCPL, but you must do this in person.
