After the updates to Libby, several customers have lost holds and/or loans and many can't return titles they are finished with. To fix these issues: 

  • Have a library staff member confirm the card number is a valid account.
  • Make note of or take screenshots of their Holds and Loans shelf in case anything gets lost.
  • Remove the card from Libby
  • Completely close all open apps including Libby.
  • Fully power off the device and wait a minute or two.
  • Power back on and open Libby.
  • Add the card back into Libby.
  • If that doesn't work, customers should submit a Support form or have a staff member submit the form for them using the customer's contact info.
