All of the copy machines in any BCPL library can scan documents and photos in full color. Scanning is free. Scanned images can be saved on a thumb drive. You can bring your own or purchase one for $6 at any branch.
To email scanned images from the thumb drive, log in to your personal email account on any of our public computers and send as an email attachment. You must have a BCPL library card in good standing to use the public computers.
If you ask at the desk of any of our libraries, a staff member will be able to help you. To sum up, here's what you'll need:
-Your document/photo to scan
-Thumb drive ($6 at any BCPL library, if you need to purchase one)
-Library card in good standing. Customers with fines or fees greater than $25 must pay 10% of those fees in order to use a public computer that day
-Your own email account to send the document/image as an attachment from your thumb drive
