The Nook AppStore has been discontinued by Barnes & Noble. Consequently there is no longer a way to download or update apps on the Nook Color or Nook Tablet. Newer Nooks (Samsung Galaxy tabs, Nook HD and Nook HD+) can continue to access to Google Play Store to download the cloudLibrary app. But the Nook Color and Nook Tablet cannot access the Play Store.
If you already have the cloudLibrary app, it should continue but at some point it will no longer work and due to the absence of the B&N app store, cloudLibrary is not able to update the app for Nook Color or Tablet and cannot provide support when the app fails.
If you do not already have the cloudLibrary app or if you do and it stops working, you can use a Windows or Mac computer with the cloudLibrary app installed and transfer (side load) cloudLibrary e-books to your Nook Color or Nook Tablet.
NOTE: audiobooks from cloudLibrary cannot be side loaded and are not accessible this way.
Please follow the instructions below:

Turn on your device and computer then connect the device to your computer with a USB cable.

Install the CloudLibrary app. Windows app or Mac app.

Transfer the titles to the device using the Cloud Library app. For instructions on transferring the titles see: cloudLibrary and Kobo or Nook eReaders guide.

Eject the Nook Color from the computer and you are ready to read your books.

Log on to the Nook and tap the home button.

Tap on the Library icon in the Nook’s home menu.

Tap on my stuff and choose My Files from the drop down menu

The titles you transferred should be listed under My Files.

Tap on the title to open and read.
