The Kanopy collection includes classic and popular movies, kids content (movies, TV shows and animated books), documentaries, indie, and foreign films, Great Courses and other educational videos. To find the Kids section, log in, then select the word KIDS at the top, right side of the screen.

While the kid's content is unlimited, all the other content is viewed based on a ticket system. Each library card/account gets 45 tickets per month and each video you watch will deduct from your amount of tickets. Not all videos cost the same amount of tickets and shorter videos tend to cost less tickets than the longer, feature films. Your tickets should reset on the first day of the month to 45. Unused tickets will not roll over to the next month. See How Kanopy Tickets Work for more details.

To get started using Kanopy, you need your library card number and library PIN/password.

Go to BCPL's Kanopy website and select "Add a Library Card" then follow the prompts to create a Kanopy account (email and password). Kanopy passwords must be at least 6 characters long.

Tech Support
Kanopy will answer customers directly if they use the Kanopy Support form.
Or
Email:
kanopy@kanopy.com

If a customer forgot their Kanopy password and has lost access to the email they opened the Kanopy account with, then they must contact Kanopy Support directly and request that the account be closed. Then they can open a new account with the new email address. Kanopy will not close an account unless the customer contacts them directly. Kanopy will not close an account if the request comes from a library staff member.
