Use BCPL's OverDrive website to suggest OverDrive titles for purchase. The Libby app does not have the recommend titles feature yet. Follow the steps below to recommend titles using the OverDrive site.

Go BCPL's OverDrive website and search for a title. If it does not come up in your search results, select "Recommend to Library" found under Availably in the filters on the left.

If the title is available from OverDrive, it will be displayed.

Confirm if it's an ebook or audiobook by checking for the ebook or audiobook designation/icon just above the Recommend link.

Select the "Recommend" link. If the link says "Recommended" and is highlighted in teal, then you already recommended it.

Once you select the Recommend link, if you are not already logged into OverDrive you will be prompted to enter your library card number. If you are logged in you will see the screen asking you to enter and confirm your email address.

If the library buys the title, you'll be added to its wait list and receive an email when your hold is available.

To see the titles you've already recommended, select My Account then Recommendations.
You should also see how many more titles you can recommend (or when you can recommend titles again). You can recommend up to 5 OverDrive titles every 7 days. If you have reached the limit, simply wait 7 days and then try again.
Please note, when you recommend a title, there is no guarantee the library will be able to purchase it.
