Libby is now available to download from the Amazon Appstore so Fire tablet users no longer need to manually sideload the Libby app. The OverDrive app for Fire was removed from the Amazon app store on June 7, 2023. Fire tablet users who already have the OverDrive app can continue to use it for now, but it is no longer being supported. The OverDrive app will display messaging encouraging those with compatible devices to upgrade to Libby.
