You will need your BCPL card number (or username) and library pin/password to access the Banner.
- Go to BCPL's Research Databases page.
- Select Baltimore Banner from the list.
- You will be prompted to log into your library account.
- A Welcome screen with the promotional code will appear. Click the Get Started button.
- You will be taken to the Create an Account or Sign In screen, as shown below.
- If you don't already have an account, enter your name, email address and create a password. Banner passwords must be at least 8 characters long and can contain numbers, letters or special characters.
- If you previously created a Banner account, just click the Sign in link and enter your email and password.
- On the Limited Time Banner Pass screen, enter "BCPL" in the promo code field.
- Click the Apply link, which is next to the Promo code field.
- Click the Complete button, then click the Continue button.
Troubleshooting Login problems or if you hit a paywall
- Computer users -
- Check your web browser for updates
- Clear your web browser's cache or use a different, up-to-date web browser
- Mobile device users
- First create and log into your Banner account though BCPL's website.
- Then install the Banner mobile app and login with the same email and password.
- Once 30 days have passed, repeat the process.
- Go back to the BCPL website and select the Research Databases page or the Digital Library page.
- Select the Baltimore Banner and log into your library account when prompted.
- Log into the Banner when prompted.
- Now open the Banner mobile app on your mobile device.
