Have your library card number and library PIN/password handy.
Go to BCPL's Digital Library page or Research Databases page.
Select the link to the Baltimore Sun.
Select 'Online access' to read and search on the Baltimoresun.com website. Or select 'E-Edition Access' to browse The Baltimore Sun page-by-page.
You should see a login screen on The Baltimore Sun website like the one shown below. Enter your library card number or library account user name and library password.
If you see a page like the one below, select 'Yes sign in with an account' to gain access'. Do not chose 'No thanks, access anonymously'. That link is not working.
After that, you will see a page like the one shown below. If you have already created a Sun account (email and password) enter your email address, then your password.
If you have not created a Sun account then select the 'Sign Up' button at the very bottom of the screen.
Sun passwords must include at least one lower case letter, one capital letter, one number and one special character. The complete password rules should show up after you begin typing in a password.
After you log in, there should be a green circle with the letters AU in the upper right corner of the screen. If here is a blue login button instead of the green circle then click the login button and enter your Sun login credentials again. If you have any trouble logging in and/or hit a paywall/subscribe wall, clear your web browser's cache, close all your browser windows, then open a fresh browser and try again to access the Sun from the library's website.
