Patrons with Fire OS lower than version 8 may not see the CloudLibrary app display when searched in the Amazon Appstore.

These are the steps for users with Fire OS 5, 6 or 7 to download or reinstall CloudLibrary.

Note: If patrons with Fire OS 8 or later are also having trouble with the app, it is recommended they delete the old app then reinstall it from the Amazon Appstore.

Download Instructions for Fire with OS 5, 6 or 7

Navigate to the Home Screen on your Fire.

In the Search bar, type “CloudLibrary Google Play”. This will open a search on your Silk Browser.

Tap the link that says "CloudLibrary - Apps on Google Play", as shown in the screenshot below. It's usually the 2nd link in the search results.

A popup will ask if you would like to open the app in the Appstore instead.

Tap Just Once or Always. Either one is fine.

An additional message will popup to confirm continuing to the Amazon Appstore. Tap Continue.

This will continue to bring you to the CloudLibrary app page in the Appstore.

Tap Download and the Cloud app should install.

To delete and reinstall the Cloud App for Fire with OS 8 or higher

Tap the Amazon Appstore app.

Tap the 3 horizonal lines in the top left corner to open the sidebar menu.

Tap Library.

Locate the CloudLibrary app.

Tap the Download button (a down facing arrow) next to it to reinstall the app onto the device.
