All cloudLibrary and Libby/OverDrive titles are automatically returned to your library at the end of their lending periods. However you can return them early if you are finished with them.

Cloud Library

There are three ways to return Cloud Library titles.

  • From the library's website/your library account -- log into your library account and click on Items Out. Cloud Library titles should have a Check In button next to them, click Check In.
     
  • From BCPL's Cloud Library website -- log into your Cloud Library account and click the My Books tab. Next to the title you want to return, click the Check In button.
     
  • From your mobile device -- open the CL app and log in, if prompted. Tap My Books. Tap the Return Books button; then a Return button should appear next to each title. Tap Return.

Libby/OverDrive

Generally you return Libby/OverDrive titles using the same app or website you used to borrow the title. The exception is you cannot return Libby/OverDrive books from the your library account/the library's website once a format has been selected. You must use the Libby app, Libby website or the OverDrive website. The exception that is Kindle titles, which must be returned from your Amazon account or from your Kindle device.

Adobe Digital Editions

eBooks downloaded to Adobe Digital Editions will remain on your computer or device until they are manually deleted. Once the lending period has expired, you can no longer read the book but the title will still be visible in ADE.
