All cloudLibrary and Libby/OverDrive titles are automatically returned to your library at the end of their lending periods. However you can return them early if you are finished reading or listening.
Cloud Library
There are three ways to return CloudLibrary titles.
- From BCPL's Cloud Library website -- log into your Cloud Library account and click the My Books tab. Next to the title you want to return, click the 3 dots icon (as shown in the image below) then select Return.
- From the CloudLibrary app on your mobile device -- open the CL app, tap My Books then tap the 3 dots icon, now tap Return.
- From the library's website/your library account -- log into your library account and click on Items Out. Cloud Library titles should have a Check In button next to them, click Check In.
Libby/OverDrive
Generally you return Libby/OverDrive titles using the same app or website you used to borrow the title. Exceptions:
- You cannot return Libby/OverDrive books from the your library account once a format has been selected. You must use the Libby app, Libby website or the OverDrive website.
- Kindle titles must be returned from within your Amazon account, from the Kindle Reader app, or on your Kindle e-reader.

Adobe Digital Editions
eBook titles downloaded to Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) will remain on your computer or device until they are manually deleted. Once the lending period has expired, you can no longer read the book but the title will still be visible in ADE until you delete it.
