To use a library card from another Maryland public library system at any BCPL branch, it must be registered at the Accounts Desk at any of our branches or any bookmobile stop. Once your card is registered you may borrow our materials or use our subscription research databases.
A new library card will be issued only if your current library card's identification number is not compatible with our circulation software. A current photo ID will be required. Online registering of another public library's card is not available.
