Please try the following steps:

  1. Close all open apps. On Apple devices with iOS 7 and higher and many Androids, you do this by pressing the home button twice and swiping all apps up and off the screen.
  2. Check in the ebook giving this error message.
  3. Power off the device for one minute and then power it back on.
  4. Check and test your Wi-Fi connection.
  5. Open the 3M Cloud Library app and try to check the ebook out again.
  6. If there is a hold list for the title, place a hold and email us your library card number and the title.
