From our home page (http://bcpl.info) click the GO button to the right of the Search for box found above the rotating features.
This takes you to another page that allows you to search our catalog (http://catalog.bcpl.lib.md.us/polaris/). Notice the Limit By: ALL box.
Click the downward-pointing arrow and select Magazines in the drop-down menu.
An asterisk (*) will appear in the keyword search box. DO NOT remove this.
Click the GO button.
You now have a list of all the magazines owned by our library system. Change the Sort Relevance box to Title using the downward arrow if you want an alphabetical list.
Behind each title is your Place Request button to place a hold. Clicking this brings up a list of the branches owning that title, including the range of dates, and how many copies of that title are available.
You’ll need to click the box with the + sign before each branch and then the box with the + sign before Magazines/Comic Book to find out which specific issues are currently available.
To reserve the specific issue click the image of the hand holding a book immediately before the word Magazine

Enter your library card number without the spaces and your password and indicate where you want the magazine delivered. You will be notified when it is available to be checked out at your branch.
