This automated phone service allows you to get information about your library account (overdue items, extended loan fees for overdue items, items checked out and reserves), to renew items, hear library hours and holiday closing information. You will need your library card number. You cannot pay fees using Shelf Help but you can find out how much you may owe.
Once the recording starts:
- Press 1 for library account information and access to renewing items. You may check your account for any overdue items, items checked out and holds.
- Press 2 for library hours.
- Press 3 for current library announcements and holiday closings.
If for any reason SHELF HELP is not working, it is your responsibility to renew your materials online or by visiting or phoning a branch (https://www.bcpl.info/locations/index.html).
