Q. Do you accept passport applications?

The Arbutus, Towson and White Marsh Branches accept passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. They do not accept or process passport renewal applications (form DS-82).

For information about the fees including the BCPL convenience fees and what you need to bring to apply see the Passport Services page on BCPL.info or select Get Help tab at top of home page and then the Library Services link. Taking of passport photographs are available at the BCPL passport center for an additional $15.

Hours for passport acceptance (No appointment necessary. Please expect wait times.):

• Monday through Thursday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Friday and Saturday – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Sunday - by appointment only.

Services are unavailable when the branch is closed.

The East Columbia and Glenwood Branches of Howard County Public Library (http://hclibrary.org/how-do-i/passport-center/) and the Bel Air Branch of Harford County Public Library ( http://hcplonline.org/pafacility.php ) also handle passport applications.
