BCPL's subscription to Hoopla offers streaming movies and TV shows, streaming music and e-comic books.

Go to BCPL’s home page (www.bcpl.info), select the Books and More tab then select the Digital Library link from the drop-down menu. Or go directly to BCPL’s Hoopla website at: https://www.hoopladigital.com/

Select the ‘Get Started’ or ‘Sign Up’ button.

You will be prompted to select your library system. Be sure to choose "Baltimore County Public Library". If it's not in the suggestions list then search for it by name. It doesn't matter which branch you choose as long as it's a BCPL branch.

Next you should be prompted to enter your library card number and library PIN.

Now enter your email address and create a Hoopla password (it must be 8 to 40 characters long).

Now you can install the Hoopla mobile app if you have a mobile device and log in with the email and password you created.

The next time you log into Hoopla you should only need to enter your email address and Hoopla password.

To find your borrowed titles using the website, look under the My Hoopla tab and in drop-down menu select "Currently Borrowed". Using the mobile app, select the My Hoopla icon and then select the Borrowed tab.

When you are ready to exit the Hoopla website, it works best if you don't log out of the website every time you exit, unless you are using a public or shared computer, in which case you should log out.
