You can place a hold request on “On Order” titles as soon as they appear in the BCPL catalog with the exception of magazines and comic books.
There is no charge for this service.
Hold requests can be placed through our online catalog or by calling (Press 4 for Information Desk) or visiting any BCPL branch (https://www.bcpl.info/locations/index.html) and asking for assistance.
For how to place a hold online see http://bcpl.libanswers.com/faq/74813 You will need to have your library card number and password to use the online system.
You will be notified when the title is at your designated branch to be checked out. The items will be held for you for seven days. There is a fee of $1.00 on each item if you do not pick up the items within the seven day period following notification.
