If you do not already have a library card/account, you can register online for an e-card number/e-account number (also called a PACREG number) through BCPL's Online Registration. Out-of-state residents, please see information about out-of-state cards and fees before attempting to register online.

Important things to know before you register....

  • The e-card/PACREG account number should display on your screen at the end of the registration process. VERY IMPORTANT, you must write down the PACREG account number as soon as it appears on your screen and keep up with or memorize it. We do not send you a card or email you the number and there is no way for you to recover it without contacting the library for help.

  • Password Rules: You should have a chance to select your password. It must be between 4 and 16 characters long with any combination of numbers and letters (upper or lower case) but cannot contain any special characters.

  • Be sure to give an email address when you register or else you won't be able to reset your password should you ever forget the password.

  • E-card/PACREG numbers can be used to access"

  • E-card/PACREG numbers cannot be used to get digital titles from the library's online catalog/your library account. You can search and find e-books and e-audiobooks in the catalog but cannot check out or place holds using the catalog without getting a regular (physical) library card.

  • Once you have the e-card/PACREG number, unless reading/listening on a Windows or Mac computer or laptop, install one of the mobile apps. Links to the apps can be found on the Digital Library page or by searching your app store for Cloud Library, Libby by OverDrive, Hoopla or Kanopy.
